Which group can be expected to do smear campagins on other candidates?

Who will do smear campaigns? The answer to that seems pretty obvious. We have been reading smears in posts and editorials from them for years. Does anyone expect that to change?

Hey Sammy, When smears don't work they switch to petitions. After all, not being in the majority is no excuse for not being in control; that applies to elections just as well as boards. LOL

Does altering petitions, breaking laws, intimidating business owners, threatening civil servants, and blackmailing candidates improve local government? People with good intentions and a valid issue don't need to do that to find public support. If they appear to follow tactics used by organized crime maybe its because they prefer making offers we can't refuse?

And does blackmailing the supporters of particular candidates improve local government?

I'm thinking the answer to THAT is "NO" as well.

People who post their opinions have always risked attack. It is the way it is. There are only a few who are truly poisonous and they don't post here.

They don't want opinions just names on the posts
The reason is clear and connected to roasts.
They want to know who to tell us the why
it's easier that way to make up a lie.

It's not their opinion, they're entitled to those
it's just their behavior offending the nose
It makes others disgusted and most of us are
imagining feathers applied with hot tar.

The residents know this bunch is the worst
they froth and they scream as if struck by a curse
Every candidate' lame, each one of them lazy
but that logic's so weak it drives readers crazy.

If anyone wonders or gives it some thought
they'll put it together the way that they ought
they all came at once, descending on Bisbee
released from assylums for villains by Disney.
