The Indiscretions of a Planning and Zoning Board Member

I think it is a bit more pertinent and timely to explore 'issues" about a seated planning and zoning board member who is shortly up for re-appointment than say, the past personal behavior of a city manager. It is especially important since it is topical and impacts Bisbee and isn't something that occurred in another town ten years ago that this planning and zoning board member repeatedly revisits for reasons based solely on personal animus.

ITEM 1. What about a planning and zoning board member altering public documents? No matter what the appeal outcome, the court ruled those petitions were altered.

ITEM 2. What about a planning and zoning board member having a yard that reeks of chickens and pollutes the area surrounding it with junk computers containing caustic chemicals and hazardous metals?

ITEM 3. What about the personal motivation shown by the planning and zoning board member in launching a petition drive to block zoning changes passed by the board on which he was a member, that would coincidentally have impacted his personal interests as noted in Item 2?

ITEM 4. What about the use of the press by that board member in which HE launched a plan to involve a foreign government in paving the street on which he lived?

If these aren't examples of questionable behavior, pork barrel politics, and boondoggles taking priority over his position to act on behalf of the public good, I don't know corruption when I smell it. DISCUSS

Personally, I think it is FAR worse if he has the degrees and did nothing with them than if he doesn't have them. People are out there working hard to get degrees or inflating and falsifying their credentials, just to get the BEST jobs they can; they aren't out there PRETENDING they don't have them. How sad if he spent the time, effort, and money to get them only to never have used them; that would be an indictment of a life thrown away and that's pretty pathetic.

The planning and zoning board should not return Jeff Harris to that body after his lack of respect for his job. He has shown that his own interests have priority over those of the city.

Jeff Harris has become impotent. He is no longer in a position to influence others. WHY? Because too many of his friends and associates have begun to notice his temper and his erratic nature. No doubt the man is intelligent but there is a core of paranoia and social dysfunction that is hidden under the surface making him like a bomb that can go off at any time; as libel to hurt them as others. People outside of his old group are starting to view him as the town crackpot and those who have political ambitions or value their standing in Bisbee are giving him a wide berth.

It's almost worthwhile to make it impossible for his friends & associates to get any distance from him. Keep him as an albatross tied around their collective necks.

? I know quite a few people who regret that they ever got involved with Jeff Harris Conspiracy

and are trying to forget those dark days and move on. Shouldn't that say something about Jeff Harris?

IF they are sincere and have seen the light, that's ONE thing. If they don't want to be seen as having any close ties because he's inconvenient at any given time, that's another.
