IF Prop 410 passes it allows the city to take advantage of deep discounts through joining in an area AZ city cooperative , a sort of city buyers club. So why was blocking 410 so important for Wheeler and Harris? 1. It might be because positive steps by the city gives THEM less to bitch about. 2. It might be they are so ill informed they simply don't understand why they criticise things. OR 3. They're simply jealous of anything that they aren't directly involved with.

What a pair of petty piss ants. Spite the city for personal gain? SO? What else is new?

Word has it that Wheeler and Harris never attended even one Charter Review Committee meeting, which went on for 6 or 7 months. Now they are both trashing the suggestions the committee made and misrepresenting what the committee recommended to the voters.

Whether you agree with Sandy Upson or not, word has it that he put a lot of time and effort into his chairmamship, did his homework, and generally did a good job as chairman.

Certainly, Wheeler and Harris can have their opinions about the Charter Review Committee's suggestions to the voters, but to misrepresent, what the Charter Review Committee suggested, does not serve the interests of the people of Bisbee.

If anyone is interested in reading about the Charter Review Committee's suggestions to the voters, just go to the city of Bisbee website, under news. Read it and draw your own conclusions.

Trivia Question:

What recommendation of the Charter Review Committee is NOT on the ballot?

And why?
