Where are all the posts going?

What is going on over on Topix? Posts are disappearing like they are giving them away.

Looks like Harris has had all his posts taken out of Topix. Looks like somebody got nervous. They must have filled dozens of dumpsters with his old posts. Wonder why he got spooked?

Yep. That would do it. If the googlebot sensed a lot of sleeze, and served up advertising to match it, the sales department might have hit the roof and told their area manager to yank it.

Whatever it is, it's weird.

I just looked over on Topix and I haven't noticed hundreds of posts missing or very much of anything possibly missing? Not much happening over there, just the usual, mostly Jack Cannon airing his dirty laundry .

I tell you posts are missing. Did they go away a long time ago and I just noticed? I don't go in topix much but I was looking for a post in an old thread and it was gone.

Yes Jean, you are correct that many posts are missing. There was a pocket of time where Mr. Chicken Herder was having Topix purge any post that even mentioned him. It appears that under those circumstances, the entire threads were removed. Also, Jack had posts purged, I believe. So, it has been off and on for months now. If you haven't looked at Topix in some time that is probably what you are seeing.
