Tourism for Bisbee

Anybody got any ideas that should be considered. Too many ideas are getting trashed. Can't we promote the blues festival, the stair climb and add to these? I want a whole month of great activities to keep tourists in town.

What about a John Charley Appreciation Day?
It would appeal to folks near and far, even people who are not aware of his accomplishments ----- the *artwork* at his rental, vacant lots with the JC touch, changing edifices in San Jose reflecting his ideals, neutralized steetscapes in old Bisbee, decor in his subterranean city office, all the *new* landmarks.
Our celebration could culminate with a rock drilling contest in the Gulch, street dancing and a hot air balloon ride from the IDA parking lot.
