| And, what about Von Gundlach suggesting that the City auction off the Bisbee Airport because nobody in Bisbee has airplanes? |

Actually... I think Peter MAY have a good idea, even if not for the reason he cited. Maybe the Bisbee Airport would be a better operation if it were privatized. Or maybe not. I don't know. I'd have to look closer at the pros & cons.

| Well the airport may be only for the rich today but do you want to get rid of it now only to have to buy land in the future for an airport for Bisbee when it would no longer just be for the rich, when the price of land has shot up even higher? Sit on your assets. |

| I should have added that Peter Von Gundlach wanted to auction off the airport and then have the City use the proceeds to pave the streets . I believe the City of Bisbee does need an airport and as another poster stated, as more development comes into the area, the more the airport will be utilized. But, the idea of auctioning the airport just so the City could have money to pave the streets is pretty crazy to me. |

| The issue is moot, because of a 1.7 million dollar grant, and other federal monies that have come to the airport in the last year or so. Receiving these grants now makes it illegal for the city to sell the airport. The airport is a great city asset, and upgrading it is of a high priority. | |

| Sure, it's illegal to sell the airport with all those federal ties.
HOWEVER If the city auctioned the airport, the streets wouldn't get paved. The money would go somewhere else.
The only way bisbee's streets are going to get paved is to have a Public Works Director who knows how to manage people and resources.
City Hall will tell you what gets fixed depends on what grant money can be identified. There may be some truth to that, but look at all the Arizona Street money has been identified, and celebrated, and talked about. Still it's the worse driving surface in the county.
A "working" Public Works Director could get the streets paved. Little by little, on a schedule, not hit or miss depending on who screams loudest. |

| OMG Every time they get frustrated, you can rely on them to attack and this time for absolutely NO reason. Elysian goes in and says something nice about the forum and they go postal and attack. Do they realize just how demented they look? | |

Very true. Almost all small towns have a few old men that complain about everything, and of course they usually try to imply they are so much smarter and better than everyone else. It's usually just chuckled at by most citizens and ignored. Meet the JJ twins !!!

| A load of kudos to TOMBSTONE over on TOPIX. Jack was doing his typical thing and Tombstone replied in a very forthright and forceful way. I wonder if the message might FINALLY sink in that the stuff that Jack and Jeff do gets so old FAST. |

| Is Jeff Harris taking on too much and suffering a breakdown ? He is busy with his position on the P&Z . He is busy writing letters to the Observer and the Daily Review. He is busy trying to put together his case for the appeal since he can't find an attorney to defend him. He is busy going over to Aqua Prieta with Baron Von Gundlach attempting to get the streets of Bisbee paved. He is busy on Topix contacting the Moderator to erase any threads that contain his name . He is busy attempting to coverup the truth about his credentials. He is busy feeding his chickens . Ahhh, the life in a day of Jeff Harris. I really think the strain is getting to him . |

| I think the answer is that Jeff is just starved for attention. He is like the lad in the playground who smacks others and hurts them because he doesn't know how to relate. We really need to show the guy some sympathy. He doesn't mean to be a Does he? |

Hmmmmmmm, you could be talking about Eric, too. Eric has feelings about Jeff that are not altogether pure. My P.I. told me so. |

| It might be nice for some of you to realize this:
Sephiroth (セフィロス, Sefirosu?) is a fictional character and recurring villain in Square's (now Square Enix) critically acclaimed role-playing game, Final Fantasy VII.
This is in case you decide to take this pompous person seriously. |
